Transforming Mesa Park into a Thriving Community Space

Mesa Park has long been a cherished gathering place for families, friends, and neighbors. Now, we’re embarking on an exciting initiative to turn Mesa Park into a vibrant community hub. With your help, we can add essential features like a gym, swimming pool, sports courts, and more—bringing incredible benefits to our entire community, especially families, children, and seniors.

Your Contribution Can Make a Lasting Impact

Every donation, large or small, brings us closer to realizing this vision. Together, we can create a space that will serve future generations and bring our community even closer. Whether you donate to help build our new facilities or spread the word, your involvement matters!

About Mesa Park

For years, Mesa Park has been a cornerstone of the Bolinas-Stinson community—a place where people come together to relax, play, and connect. Now, we’re taking the next step in its evolution. Our goal is to enhance the park with new features that cater to everyone, from families with young children to seniors seeking accessible recreation. Mesa Park will become a hub for physical activity, education, and cultural events, fostering a sense of community for all.

How Your Donations Make a Difference

  • Build accessible and modern facilities like a gym, aquatic center, and sports courts.

  • Support recreational and educational opportunities that will enrich our youth and community.

  • Ensure long-term sustainability with eco-friendly, LEED-certified designs that respect our environment.

Here’s how each feature will directly benefit our community and schools:

  • Aquatic Center ($20.31 million): Space for swimming lessons, water aerobics, and recreational swimming, promoting water safety and health programs.

  • Gym ($16.68 million): Essential for after-school sports, physical education, and community leagues for the Bolinas-Stinson School District.

  • Play Areas & Equipment ($1.59 million): Natural, interactive spaces inspired by the Tunnel Tops in San Francisco.

  • Sports Courts ($790,000 total): Multi-purpose courts for basketball, tennis, pickleball, and volleyball, supporting both recreational and organized sports.

  • Skateboard Park ($2.04 million): Expanded to double its size, offering a safe space for both experienced skaters and younger learners.

  • Amphitheater ($3.39 million): A cultural hub for performances, concerts, and gatherings.

  • Sitework, Infrastructure & Sustainability Features ($9.86 million): Sustainability-focused infrastructure, including geothermal energy, aimed at earning LEED certification.

Why Mesa Park Matters

  • Community Impact: Mesa Park serves people from all walks of life, providing equal access to recreation and wellness. These new facilities will expand opportunities for education, fitness, and community-building that we currently lack.

  • Educational Enrichment: The addition of spaces like the gym and swimming pool will support school programs, enhance physical education, and provide a home for youth sports leagues and activities.

  • Equal Opportunities for All: Our park redevelopment will especially benefit underserved families, offering children from every background the chance to engage, learn, and thrive.

  • Environmentally Responsible: With LEED certification and sustainable designs from our partners, we’re ensuring that Mesa Park remains green and socially responsible for years to come.

How to Get Involved

  • Sponsor a Feature: From naming rights for the gym to supporting the aquatic center or play areas, your sponsorship can have a direct, lasting impact on the community.

  • Volunteer Your Time: Help us by volunteering in planning events, promoting the project, or lending a hand to make our campaign a success.

  • Share Our Vision: Spread the word to your friends, family, and community. Encourage them to get involved and be part of this exciting transformation.
