Mission Statement
The Firehouse Community Park Agency is committed to preserving, maintaining, and enhancing Mesa Park and Downtown Park as essential gathering places for the Bolinas community. Rooted in the town’s spirit of self-reliance and environmental stewardship, we ensure accessible, sustainable, and high-quality recreational spaces that reflect the town’s values. Our parks serve as hubs for multi-generational connection, outdoor activities, and local events, strengthening the fabric of Bolinas.
Vision Statement
We envision Mesa Park and Downtown Park as the heart of Bolinas, where residents and visitors alike come together to play, gather, and celebrate the town’s deep connection to nature. Through innovative programs, sustainable land management, and community-driven initiatives, we aim to create public spaces that preserve the character of Bolinas while ensuring opportunities for recreation and connection for generations to come.
The Firehouse Community Park Agency (a.k.a. “Mesa Park Board”) meets on the first Wednesday of each month in the Bolinas Firehouse meeting room at Mesa Park at 6:30pm.
